The pharmacy service requires that some pharmacies are always available and shifts have to be organized: a shift corresponds to a subset of pharmacies that must be open 24 hours a day on a particular week. Under the requirement that each pharmacy belongs to exactly one shift and the assumption that users minimize the distance to the closest open pharmacy during each shift, we want to determine a partition of the pharmacies into a given number of shifts, such that the total distance covered by users is minimized. It may be also required that shift cardinalities are balanced. We discuss different versions and the related computational complexity, showing that the problem is NP-hard in general. A set packing formulation is presented and solved by branch-and-price, together with a fast solution technique based on a tabu search. They have been applied to real and random instances showing that (i) the set packing formulation is very tight and often exhibits no integrality gap; (ii) the branch-and-price solves problems of practical relevance to optimality in a reasonable amount of time (order of minutes); (iii) the tabu search finds optimal or near-optimal solutions in order of seconds.  相似文献

Fine-grained fully-lamellar (FL) microstructure is desired for TiAl components to serve as compressor/turbine blades and turbocharger turbine wheels. This study deals with the process and phase transformation to produce FL microstructure for Mo stabilized beta-gamma TiAl alloys without single α-phase field. Unlike the α + γ two-phased TiAl or beta-gamma TiAl with single α-phase field, the wrought multi-phase TiAl–4/6Nb–2Mo–B/Y alloys exhibit special annealing process to obtain FL microstructure. Short-term annealing at temperatures slightly above β-transus is recommended to produce the desired FL microstructure. The related mechanism is to guarantee the sufficient diffusion homogenization of β stabilizers during single β-phase annealing, and further avoid α decomposition by α → γ + β when cooling through α + β + γ phase field. The colony boundary β phase contributes to fine-grained nearly FL microstructure, by retarding the coarsening of the α phase grains.  相似文献

The measurement principle of vortex flowmeter is based on von Karman vortex shedding phenomenon. Frequency of vortices, behind the bluff body, is proportional to the mean flow velocity. There are different ways of detection of vortices, and different sensors are used (presser sensors, capacitive sensors, thermo-resistance sensors, ultrasonic sensors, etc.). Proposed method to vortex identification, presented in this paper is based on simultaneous detection of pair of vortices with opposite circulation, by means of two pairs of ultrasonic transducers. A beam of ultrasound, from ultrasonic transmitter to ultrasonic receiver is transmitted perpendicularly to the vortex street. The received ultrasonic signal is amplitude and phase modulated. Frequency of demodulated signal is equal to the frequency of vortices. This technique allows a number of advantages comparing to conventional solutions: reduction, or elimination of noises caused by installation vibration and disturbances in the flow, higher sensor sensitivity, which as a result leads to a possibility of a reduction of the bluff body size, i.e. reduction of the pressure drop on the flow meter, increase of the measurement range in the low flow region, the possibility of redundant operation of the flow meter, reduced measurement uncertainty, instrument technology improvements, improved reliability of the instrument, assured improved statement of complete uncertainty contributions, improved metrology of the equipment as such and calibration procedures that contribute to measuring capabilities etc. For experimental testing a prototype vortex flowmeter of a nominal inner diameter (ID) 50 mm is developed. A cylindrical bluff body for vortex shedding is used. Ultrasonic transducers based on piezo-crystal PZT-5A, inserted in the wall of the vortex meter casing are utilized. The testing of prototype ultrasonic vortex flowmeter is realized on the calibration station on the water. The results at the testing point to the possibility of measuring flow of liquid fluids at velocities less than 0.5 m/s, with an uncertainty better than ±1%.  相似文献

Ceramics with mullite whiskers were prepared from coal fly ash and Al2O3 raw materials, with AlF3 used as an additive. The phase structures and microstructures of the ceramics were identified via X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The results show that pickling of coal fly ash is an effective method for enhancing the flexural strength of ceramics. Sintering temperature and AlF3 addition were also key factors influencing the creation of ideal ceramics. The ceramic made from pickled coal fly ash, 6?wt% AlF3, and sintered at 1200?°C, exhibited the highest flexural strength of 59.1?MPa, and had a bulk density of 1.32?g/cm3 and porosity of 26.8%. The results show that ceramic materials made under these conditions are ideal candidates for manufacturing ceramic proppants for the exploitation of unconventional oil and gas resources.  相似文献

Titania-based ceramics with adjustable anatase-rutile fractions were obtained by milling of anatase, quartz and corundum precursors, uniaxial pressing and firing at 1100?°C. The influence of silica and alumina, combined with milling time and compaction pressure, was studied by design of experiments. The L9 orthogonal array with a three-level noise factor was employed. Firing of pure titania at 1100?°C yielded complete anatase to rutile transformation (ART), whereas stabilized samples show that an optimum amount of 9% silica and 33% alumina reduces phase transformation to only about 5?wt% rutile. An extended correlation matrix combined with analysis of variance (ANOVA) was applied to assess the combined effects of quartz, alumina, milling time and uniaxial compressing pressure on relative density, and anatase to rutile transformation. Results show absence of ART after milling, and controlled partial conversion of anatase to rutile after firing. Very good fitting was obtained by multivariate analysis on considering first and second order terms for dependence on silica contents and interactions between silica and each of the remaining factors, including milling time. This empirical dependence could be interpreted on a sound physicochemical basis, allowing the prediction of suitable compositions and processing conditions to obtain rutile-free samples by conventional ceramic processing, and to design ceramic samples with controlled fractions of anatase and rutile.  相似文献

Polycrystalline LaMgAl11O19 (LMA) was prepared by four different non-hydrolytic sol-gel methods. From stable solutions, four powder precursors containing an amorphous and nanocrystalline phase with specific reactivity were obtained. The particle size, morphology, thermal behaviour, and phase composition of the powder precursors were studied using DLS, TEM, DSC/TG and XRD. Bulk ceramic samples containing LMA were prepared at 1200?°C for 16?h and examined in terms of phase purity and microstructure using XRD, SEM, and TEM. Raman spectroscopy of pure LMA was used to study the structure in detail. A mechanism of LMA formation and a relation between powder precursor properties and final phase composition is proposed. These findings may be useful for designing modern technologies for fabrication of LMA for optical or protective coating applications.  相似文献

Herein, we report the successful synthesis of different phases of VO2 nanomaterials via a facile hydrothermal method by simply varying the molar ratio of the reducing agent (citric acid monohydrate) to vanadium precursor (vanadium (V) oxide). Six samples were synthesized with corresponding variation in molar ratio of vanadium (V) oxide to citric acid monohydrate as 1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 and 1:5, respectively. The synthesized nanomaterials were characterized by phase identification, morphologies, compositional, optical, thermal, and electrical properties. The detailed characterizations confirmed the formation of single phase VO2 (B), VO2 (M) and amorphous VO2 by the mere variation of relative concentrations of reducing agent. Even though the synthesis of single phase VO2 is challenging and interestingly, a simple, one-step hydrothermal process procedure was used to produce pure phaseVO2 without the use of inert environment or post-synthesis heat treatments.  相似文献

Materials based on CeO2–La2O3–Er2O3 system are promising candidates for a wide of applications, but the phase relationship has not been studied systematically previously. To address this challenge, the isothermal section of the phase diagram for 1500 °C was investigated. The phase relations in the CeO2–La2O3–Er2O3 ternary system at 1500 °C were studied by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy in the overall concentration range. To study phase relationships at 1500 °C the as-repared samples were thermally treated in two stages: at 1100 °C (for 300 in air) and then at 1500 °C (for 70 h in air) in the furnaces with heating elements based on Fecral (H23U5T) and Superkanthal (MoSi2), respectively. The solid solutions based on various polymorphous forms of constituent phases and with perovskite-type structure of LaErO3 (R) with orthorhombic distortions were revealed in the system. No new phases were found. The isothermal section of the phase diagram for the CeO2–La2O3–Er2O3 system has been constructed. It was established that in the ternary CeO2–La2O3–Er2O3 system there exist fields of solid solutions based on hexagonal (A) modification of La2O3, cubic modification of CeO2 with fluorite-type structure (F), cubic modification Er2O3 and with perovskite-type structure of LaErO3 (R) with orthorhombic distortions. The maximal solubility of ceria in LaErO3 was found to be around ∼ 2 mol% CeO2 along the section CeO2–(50 mol % La2O3 –50 mol% Er2O3).  相似文献

Nanosized Ag-doped ceria (Ce1-xAlxO2-δ)powders (0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.04) were obtained by self-propagating room temperature reaction. The solid solubility of Ag into ceria lattice was the highest reported so far. X-ray diffraction analysis and field emission scanning microscopy results showed that the doped samples are single phase solid solutions with fluorite-type structure and all prepared powders were nanometric in size. The average size of Ce1-xAgxO2-▯ particles lies at about 4 nm. Raman spectra revealed an increase in the amount of oxygen vacancies with the increase of Ag concentration, such as is foreseen. The thermal stability of solid solution was followed by XRD. Microstructure development was studied by scanning electron microscopy. By controlling the processing variables, it was possible to obtain high density samples with homogeneous microstructure at low sintering temperature.  相似文献
